We came from Barbuda to Green Island with a boisterous sail down the west side of Antigua into Ricketts Harbour.

It is a lovely anchorage so we stayed a few day to swim and snorkel. Well after a relaxing few days we moved to Falmouth harbour where a huge number of cruisers were gathering for the race weeks.
Nelsons Dockyard is part of the National Park here and very historic as a strategic sea port for the British Fleet.

We couldn't get internet in the harbour so we often would sit outside the Mad Mongoose bar as they kept the wifi on when they were not open during the mornings.

We enjoyed a lot of walking and this was the first one to Pigeon beach with a group of friends.

We took several trips into the capital of St John, it's a busy place by comparison and more so if a cruise ship comes in.

We visited St John's Cathederal which is under severe construction after being eaten by termites.

We walked around the cruise ship terminal and saw some very tourist looking shops and bars.

We took a Sunday night trip to Shirley Heights fort and view point, They have a couple of bands and BBQ set up for 2 nights a week to allow visitors to enjoy the sunset. Unfortunately clouds were to thick to get a good sunset this evening.

After taking the bus to Shirley heights for dinner we decided to hike up during the day to explore the rest of the hill and fortifications.
