We arrived in Carriacou in Tyrell Bay on May 31st 2016 just ahead of. One insurance deadline for hurricane season. As in p devious years we will be south on 12 degrees 30 minutes for the next 5 months. So this year we are staying entirely in Grenada between the island of Carriacou and the main island of Grenada.
Just after our arrival our friends David and Sue on Sans Cles arrived followed by Susumi. We all l over to hike so of course we went for a hike around the valley behind Tyrell Bay with great views and even another tortoise.

Carriacou has some very nice reefs surrounding it and since the locl dive shop Lubadive has some fantastic off season deals for Lionfish hunting, we took a dive trip with them. we saw lots of great fish but thankfully very few Lionfish this trip. SO work to keep this invasive species of the local reef is working.

We have a few jobs to do while we are here in Carriacou, so we dropped the sails to put a few stitches in where needed. We also have to recoat the cetol vanish on the toerail with 4 coats for next season. SO we are a little busy in paradise too.

We take our first trip into the main town of Hillsborough for a little retail therapy as my dear mother would have said.

Well we are sure we are staying here until regatta next month so more to post later.
